My dad once said that being bored is a state of mind (or something along those lines). In any case, I could never say “I am bored.” It usually was followed by a chore, to help ease my boredom. So, now when I’m bored I do things like this….

So yeah, boredom can be a time of great productivity. Or not. With all that technology out there – Pinterest, Facebook, Tumblr…etc … boredom is no longer an issue. (It doesn’t seem fair that people are making money from my wasted time, but you have to admit it is pretty ingenious). But I still like to be creative with the time I waste (which was proven by the above sequence of pictures), so that is a good sign.
I have come to the conclusion that you do not have to be busy and go go go all the time to be living “fully”. So, if you’re bored and feel like you did nothing all day (which happens to me sometimes), I always ask myself if it was still a good day, and usually the answer is always yes. Life is good whether or not I am out partying the night away or cuddled up on the couch with my best friend reading, or even acting goofy just to the pass the time.
So go waste some time and be happy!
“Time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted.” ~John Lennon
