Yesterday was a dreary winter day, and I’m so ready for fields of flowers. Spring always gives a sense of renewal, of beginning again...⠀ ⠀ (I’ve been inspired by this feeling lately and wrote about it on the blog. Maybe you’ll find some ✨ in it, too. Link in bio.)

That blissful feeling when sitting down with a new book from one of your favorite authors. ❤️ Kate Morton - and her latest novel is just as wonderful as I knew it would be. ✨ ⠀ ⠀ “Sentimentality was mawkish and cloying, where nostalgia was acute and aching. My habit has always been to tread softly. In nature, not wanting to disturb the deer sleeping beyond our fence or make the fox feel unwelcome. In words, because I’ve always known their power. And I’ve finally learned that living quietly isn’t a character flaw, but a strength of its own. ⠀ ⠀ So in case you’re wondering why my handle changed, it’s just a new expression of what I hope to create here.
